Waste of Time

I went to Arvie, because years ago I worked for them, but only temporay, When I got there I sat for about 20 mins. The Office Manager remembered me, I felt she and her Manager made no real effort to assist me. They didn't make you feel as though you had a chance of getting a job, I was ticked off, cause I overheard them whispering in the next office, supposed about me.

I doubt I'm the only one....

I'm not sure what happened with the reviewers below, but my experience with Arvie was the complete opposite. Everyone in the office was very professional and treated me with the utmost respect. I passed all of the assessments given to me and after my interview with Cynthia, I was placed with an assignment the next day. When that assignment ended, within a week I was called about another opportunity (because of my scores and interview). Arvie is 100 times better than those other personnel I would suggest that you be prepared (for assessments and interview), have some idea of what you're looking for, and be professional.

PIck and Choose

I went was told about Arvie by a family member that had worked with them. So I called and spoke with the receptionist Heather and was told that they had a job available and she set me up for testing and an interview. Heather left for lunch while I was still testing so when I finished I spoke with Cynthia who told me that there were no positions aval. So I asked about the position Heather spoke about and was told that position was not available either. I know this happens with temporary services my problem with Arvie is no when O call at least once a week to see if they have any assignments available Cynthia answers and she doesnt ask what type of job am interested in, my name of anything. Shes rude and has not a bit of professionalism in her. Arvie im very diappointment.

A WAIST OF TIME AND EFFORT!

I worked for Arvie over 10 years at TSU as a temp, between then and now I went to the new Church St. location, the service was so bad that Shaunda who was fresh out of college 10 years, well she remembered me and she and her boss were talking about me and her boss gave me the wrong type body language, I read it, (HER BOSS WOULD SHUT THE DOOR, RIGHT AFTER THEY BEGAN SPEAKING WITH YOU! it was a hot day, and I really needed a job, all in all they let me down, I don't recommend them at all! NOT PROFESSONAL! I suggest going to school, before fooling with ARVIE!

No follow-up

I would not recommend Arvie Personnel Services. I personally delivered my resume to the office manager who said she did not have time to speak with me. She stated that she had a management opportunity which may fit my needs and so she provided me her contact information and told me to email her. I sent 3 emails to her, to which none were responded. I am a professional with extensive education and years of management experience. Their lack of follow through may have prevented me from connecting with a viable position. I could have even followed up with the company myself had they only returned my email requests for information.
